Volunteer Opportunities

Current Volunteer Opportunities:*

  • Database Management Assistant Volunteer: Communicate via phone and email with providers to gather updated information. Enter data into database; update existing entries. Complete Excel files for import into the database and complete database testing to ensure accuracy of information being provided.
  • Fundraising Assistant Volunteer: Assist in planning DRMAC’s Annual Awards Ceremony and Reception by identifying event sponsors and creating sponsor solicitation materials. Assist with increasing individual donors by developing fundraising materials, updating the DRMAC’s Colorado Gives Day website, and tracking donations.
  • Marketing Assistant Volunteer: Assist Project Coordinator in creating and updating marketing materials to promote DRMAC’s three program areas. Marketing materials include (but are not limited to): fliers, brochures, business cards, e-newsletters, email blasts, advertisements, and website updates. Oversee independent projects as assigned.
  • Office Assistant Volunteer: Answer and triage organizational phone calls. Prepare materials for various meeting, including copying and collating. Data entry; including program outcomes.
  • Information and Assistance Center Volunteer:  Assist the Transportation Resources Specialist with answering the Information and Assistance Center phone line. Interview callers to obtain information needed to identify appropriate transportation resources. Provide callers with transportation resources. Document information about calls in tracking document or call center software.
  • Volunteer Driver: Transport ambulatory riders from their homes to medical (and occasional personal) appointments. Give assistance to riders as needed. Drive safely, obey all traffic laws (including seat belt use for driver and rider) and report any emergencies immediately. Attend required training and orientation sessions as designated organization.

Most volunteer positions are located at the DRMAC offices at 190 E. 9th Ave, Ste 440, Denver, CO however some require offsite travel.
