Winter Giving Opportunities

Project Angel Heart

  • Who are they? Project Angel Heart prepares and delivers medically tailored meals to people living with severe illnesses.
  • Provide Meal Bags & Hosting a “Gobble Gobble Give Day” on Nov 27th and will be recruiting over 120 meal delivery drivers to help them deliver the meals. Sign up to volunteer!

Denver Rescue Mission

  • Who are they? Denver Rescue Mission is changing lives in the name of Christ by meeting people at their physical and spiritual points of need with the goal of returning them to society as productive, self-sufficient citizens.
  • Give a turkey and change a life! Denver Rescue Mission for their annual Turkey Drive and help them put a turkey on every table.

Growing Home

  • Who are they? In partnership with the community, Growing Home advances equity in food, housing, parenting education, and lifelong stability to create lasting change for the future.

Denver Dream Center

  • Who are they? They connect broken people to a community of support by providing free resources and services that address immediate and long-term needs in the areas of homelessness, hunger, poverty, addiction, abuse, and education and assisting those transitioning from various levels of incarceration.
  • Collecting food, clothing, and household items to care for families and individuals in need.

Hunger Free Colorado

  • Who are they? They work to make sure all Coloradans have sustainable access to nutritious, affordable food every day where they need it and when they need it. Working around the state, they are building relationships between parents, students, farmers, ranchers, food pantries and schools to strengthen local food systems and integrate more locally sourced foods into school meals and food pantries.
  • You can support them by celebrating their 15th year anniversary! Support their SNAP Outreach programs, Community Organizing and advocacy efforts to protect the Healthy School Meals for All, Full Plate Society, and other initiatives through a general donation.

Dress for Success Colorado

  • Who are they? They provide at-risk women and all who gender identify as female, with job readiness tools, professional attire and post-employment support to assist them in their efforts to achieve economic self-sufficiency.
  • Donate your gently used, nearly-new professional attire or volunteer to empower women in your community.

Clothes to Kids of Denver

  • Who are they? Clothes To Kids of Denver proudly provides new and quality used clothing in a boutique setting to Denver area students from low-income or in-crisis families, free of charge.
  • Donate financially, with online fundraisers, or donate your new or gently used clothing and shoes!

African Community Center

  • Who are they? The African Community Center of Denver (ACC) is a non-profit refugee resettlement agency whose mission is to help refugees and immigrants rebuild safe, sustainable lives in Colorado.
  • Join them for their 19th annual Refugee First Thanksgiving community dinner on Monday, November 25th from 5-9pm! Tickets are free

Coats for Colorado

  • Who are they? Coats for Colorado works to provide warm winter coats at no cost to Coloradoans of all ages.
  • Volunteer, participate in a coat collection, or donate your own coat!
