Regional Coordinating Council (RCC)

Coordinating Regional Transportation Services & Resources

As the RCC we oversee Local Coordinating Councils in each of seven counties.

DRMAC staff attend a variety of events in the 9-county region and report on them.

We maintain a calendar of events for others to share and to know what’s being offered.

DRMAC has been involved with Vision Zero, The Pass Program Working Group, Mile High Connects Affordable Fares effort, The Commission for People with Disabilities, The ADA Paratransit Advisory Council, The Veterans Transportation and Community Living Initiative (Ride Alliance), and other transit groups and efforts throughout the greater Denver region. If you don’t see it on the calendar, ask!

Human Services Transportation and Colorado’s Climate Change Roadmap

DRMAC Regional Coordinating Council (RCC) Meeting – March 2, 2021

Thanks to all who participated in DRMAC’s RCC meeting on the intersection of Colorado’s plans to reduce greenhouse gas emissions intersects with the provision of human services transportation – a broad range of transportation options for people who experience mobility challenges (e.g., older adults, people with disabilities, people with low incomes). A great panel of experts shared information leading to some engaging Q&A on different perspectives to consider moving forward. The needs of people with disabilities, complications resulting from other factors in the built environment (e.g., safe sidewalks), and financial considerations were just some of the issues discussed. Public comment on Colorado’s Climate Equity Framework can be made by visiting the website. Special thanks to our moderator, Eugene Howard, Senior City Planner with Community Planning and Development, City and County of Denver.
