Link On Demand Update – Ryan Arthur, Douglas County

• Link On Demand has provided 2,112 rides and reached 95.6% of its annual demand goal.

• Expansion into Castle Rock is progressing, with service expected to cover the entire town following approval of key agreements and funding commitments.

• Funding includes DRCOG pilot funding, Federal 5307 funds, and local cost-sharing from Castle Rock and Parker.

• Survey data shows riders include older adults, youth, and individuals with disabilities.

• Plans are underway to increase fleet capacity and expand outreach efforts throughout the service area.

DRMAC Program Updates – Latoya Prante, DRMAC

• Introduced Next Ride Forward, a new reentry transportation program supporting individuals transitioning from incarceration.

• The program provides transportation assistance to employment, court appointments, probation and parole meetings, healthcare appointments, and transitional housing.

• DRMAC continues to offer Getting There Travel Training and Technology Training to help individuals safely and confidently navigate transportation options and technology.

• Transit to Table continues to provide transportation to food banks, helping address food access barriers across the region.

Partner Updates

• Douglas County is pursuing 5310 funding in partnership with Aging Resources Douglas County and the Castle Rock Senior Center.

• Lone Tree is applying for 5310 funding to expand wheelchair-accessible transportation services and increase capacity for larger mobility devices.

• Bustang service will begin serving Lone Tree, further improving regional connectivity.

• Karen Mabbutt shared updates on a new transportation software system that improves scheduling, dispatching, trip tracking, and rider communication.

• Bob Epstein reported that the 2026 state budget is nearing finalization, with additional transit funding analysis expected once approved.
