- Currently anticipating a hearing before the Planning Commission for the Transportation and Mobility Plan in September. Please note that the Planning Commission is the final decision-maker on this advisory plan.
- July through August – Brief PC and respond to comments
- September – Adoption by planning committee
- Front Range Passenger Rail
- WHERE: Front Range Passenger Rail (FRPR) will initially run from Fort Collins through Denver to Pueblo, with a long-term goal of connecting Colorado to New Mexico and Wyoming.
- WHY: With 5 million people currently on the Front Range—and 3 million more expected—FRPR offers a safe, efficient way to travel and connect communities.
- WHEN: The first train could launch within 10–15 years. Planning is underway for routes, stations, and funding. 2029!!!!
- HOW:FRPR will use existing freight rail tracks and partnerships to reduce costs and speed up implementation, supported by Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding.
