September – Adoption by planning committee
Front Range Passenger Rail
WHERE: Front Range Passenger Rail (FRPR) will initially run from Fort Collins through Denver to Pueblo, with a long-term goal of connecting Colorado to New Mexico and Wyoming.
WHY: With 5 million people currently on the Front Range—and 3 million more expected—FRPR offers a safe, efficient way to travel and connect communities.
WHEN: The first train could launch within 10–15 years. Planning is underway for routes, stations, and funding. 2029!!!!
HOW:FRPR will use existing freight rail tracks and partnerships to reduce costs and speed up implementation, supported by Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding.
