Boulder MAC Meeting 1/22/25

  • 2025 Mobility Heroes Campaign has begun. Fill out the nominations at the following link https://boco.org/MobilityHeroesSurvey
  • 1/14 APAC meeting updates:
    • Implementing new short survey after you call the reservation & customer care calls at the end of march. The survey will be an automated Dialpad survey.
    • RTD is still analyzing the data before making changes to Access-on-Demand. Any changes will be implemented on May 1st and feedback sessions are TBA.
  • 2/25 1-3:30pm there will be an in-person joint Boulder, Larimer, and Weld Counties Coordinating Councils. Goal of this meeting is to learn the barriers and gaps that people in these communities face and how we can address them
  • Boulder Canyon Extra Update
    • Boulder County has been contracting with Via to offer Boulder Canyon Extra as of December to address transportation for students (one time in morning and one time in afternoon). This service was voted to continue in afternoon through May 2025. It leaves downtown boulder station at 5:15pm up to Nederland High School and back down to Boulder.
  • Winter Bike to Work Day is on 2/14
  • Mountain Rides Transportation Update
    • Service will continue 3 days/week in January and in February it will go back to Wednesday & Thursday service
  • Downtown Boulder Station Expansion
    • 5 new bus gates constructed on 14th St. between Canyon Blvd. and Arapahoe. Completion date will be sometime summer 2025.
  • RTD Civil Rights Title VI Program Update
  • RTD Transit Assistance Grant (TAG) Program https://www.rtd-denver.com/transit-assistance-grant-program
    • Provides RTD ticket books or mobile tickets for clients with immediate needs to increase independence, access to community. Last year they issued 229,352 3-hour passes.
