- Broomfield Transit Study:
- Will be developing recommendations over the next two months
- New RTD District I representative Karen Benker, representing Broomfield to Longmont
- RTD Access-on-demand service/Paratransit Peer Review
- Changes/cuts could be made to Access-on-demand. Proposed changes:
- Implement a fare of $4.50 per trip, $2.25 for LiVE program enrollees
- Provide up to a $30 subsidy per trip
- Allow up to 30 trips per month
- Limit service to the Access-a-Ride boundary (3/4-mile distance between non-commuter bus routes and rail lines).
- Customers must be enrolled and actively use Access-a-Ride for 90 days prior to enrollment in Access-on-Demand
- Limit service hours to reflect current fixed-route service hours
- Presentation overview of current program, challenges and recommendations
- Survey is availablethrough Jan 14
- More meetings will be hosted in Spring once Board provides direction on changes
- Broomfield Housing Alliance
- Breaking ground on IDD housing development (The Grove at Cottonwood) in April of 2025
