DRCOG Civic Advisory Group – May 5th, 2020

The Civic Advisory Group met to continue to provide community input for DRCOG’s Metro Vision Regional Transportation Plan 2050. Results from outcome scenarios modeled by DRCOG were shared with the greatest impact shown when combining “centers” land use with improved/expanded transit and “infill” land use with increased travel/mobility choices. The group also tested an online budget exercise that will be used for more widespread virtual community engagement. Additionally, there was a presentation about DRCOG’s Coordinated Transit Plan and an interactive exercise to provide some feedback for the plan. Stay tuned for online and virtual opportunities to engage with DRCOG regarding the Metro Vision Regional Transportation Plan 2050. The Civic Advisory Group plans to convene again in the fall.
