Guest Presentation: Qualified Listeners
Chrysti Britt shared information about Qualified Listeners, a volunteer-based organization providing:
- Free rides for medical and non-medical needs (ambulatory and wheelchair accessible)
- Peer-to-peer support and advocacy
- Assistance across a multi-state region (Wyoming to New Mexico)
- Support for veterans in partnership with the VA and local officers
- One-time financial assistance (e.g., car repairs – paid directly to vendors)
- Home support such as grab bars, furnishings, and medical equipment
- Donation acceptance (furniture and medical equipment in good condition)

- Transitioning to bi-monthly meetings
- Increased focus on frequent presenters and stronger member engagement
Vision Zero Safety Action Plan
- Working group meeting four times
- Collaboration with Edgewater, Golden, Wheat Ridge, Morrison, Mountain View, and Lakeside

- Reviewed four anticipated regional transportation projects included in the 10-year plan
