THURSDAY, OCTOBER 15 – 5:00 PM
Transit Talks is a virtual gathering of transit professionals, advocates, and enthusiasts hosted by Via. During these events, we moderate a discussion focused on different transportation topics. We’ll engage with and learn from local and regional transit nerds and industry leaders.
In October, we’ll be joined by Jim Collins and Jarett Hughes to discuss the 2020 Strategic Action Plan on Aging. This plan represents the final legislatively mandated update to the General Assembly from Colorado’s Strategic Action Planning Group on Aging. The 2020 Action Plan is the culmination of subcommittee work through the year focusing on rural transportation, workforce development, long-term services and supports, and state structure/governance of aging issues. Colorado’s shifting demographics require a hard look at both the needs and opportunities that a growing aging population presents to our state, our communities, and our families. Learn more about our panelists at https://viacolorado.org/events/.
Previous topics have included On-Demand Transportation, Behavior Studies and Transit, and the Future of Transit.
Registration is required; all are welcome!
