Community Updates
- CALC’s third book club is on November 16th from 6-7pm. They’re offering free books and raffles, city department will talk about redlining 11/16. https://www.denverlibrary.org/event/community-active-lliving-coalition-book-club-color-law
- East Colfax Community Collective is giving out $4,000 grants to small businesses in the East Colfax area. They are also doing a small business marketing workshop and a job fair the third week in November.
- Trunk or Treat event on October 30th from 11am-1pm to DSST Middle School @ Noel Campus
CALC members thought about what questions they’d ask about transportation if they met a time traveler from the past or future. Some curiosities included how the public is influenced by transportation, if route details play on repeat in every language, if transportation would be free, how gaps in transit would be addressed, and more.
The next CALC meeting is on December 8th, 2021 from 5:30-6:30pm
