DRCOG Civic Advisory Group – December 8, 2020

DROG’s Civic Advisory Group opened with introductions. A refresher on the purpose of the Metro Vision Regional Transportation Plan (MVRTP) and a recap of the previous meeting were provided followed by an update on the status of MVRTP50. A presentation was given on Environmental Justice and Equity Analysis. The group then participated in an activity where they provided feedback on vulnerable groups to be considered as well as the destinations important to these groups. There was a second presentation to the group on Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction followed by discussion of the target goals and how scenarios could affect efforts to reach target goals. The next meeting will be in February 2021.
