Updates

Easy Ride is currently at a standstill and someone at DRCOG is looking into next steps to get Ride Alliance back up and running. They are done with meals on wheels and grocery box delivery. Still disinfecting and wearing masks. Ridership is increasing with the opening of senior centers and other places that were closed due to COVID

 

Flex Ride should be getting second bus back online by August. There is a shortage of bus drivers that is impacting the number of rides given. Flex Ride is a curb to curb service that serves all residents of all ages and abilities. They are working with RTD to include a few point deviations to go outside of the normal routes to specific destinations. Saturday service is now operational 9am-6pm.

 

Broomfield Voice Wayfinding Plan is to implement new sign standards to create low stress network in Broomfield) Online Open House on July 15th 7pm. Visit https://www.broomfieldvoice.com/wayfinding. More discussion surrounded National Night Out on Tuesday August 3rd at 5pm. There will be lots of transportation information and a Flex Ride bus will be there for everyone to check out.
