DRMAC’s Calendar of Events, Meetings, and Workshops
Find transportation events for the Denver Metro Area offered by a variety of community partners to address issues affecting access to transportation. Network, learn and collaborate as, together, we solve transportation issues. Persons with disabilities who need an accommodation to participate in DRMAC Events, Meetings, or Workshops should contact Coleen Samuels at 303-243-3113 or csamuels@drmac-co.org as far in advance as possible but at least five working days before the date of the scheduled event. A written request may also be sent to DRMAC, P.O. Box 9901 | Denver, CO 80209. Persons using a TDD may contact Relay Colorado at 711.
DRMAC’s mission is to ensure people with mobility challenges have access to the community by increasing, enhancing, sharing and coordinating regional transportation services and resources. DRMAC serves the following Colorado counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Gilpin and Jefferson. DRMAC is a project of the Colorado Nonprofit Development Center (CNDC).
Policies: ADA & Title VI Compliance | Privacy
To ensure equality and fairness, The Denver Regional Mobility and Access Council (DRMAC) is committed to making reasonable modifications to its policies, practices and procedures to avoid discrimination and ensure programs and services are accessible to individuals with disabilities. DRMAC may allow the reasonable modification of its policies to accommodate the special needs of persons with disabilities in order to allow them to fully utilize our services as required by 49 CFR Part 37.5(i.3). Whenever possible, a request for a reasonable modification or accommodation shall be filed/requested as early as possible but at least 5 business days in advance of a public meeting or event by contacting us:
Coleen Samuels 303-243-3113, or csamuels@drmac-co.org
Requests for reasonable modifications or accommodations will not be approved if the request would: fundamentally alter the nature of the service, program, or activity; create a direct threat to the health or safety of others; result in an undue financial and administrative burden; or the individual would still be able to fully use the services provided by DRMAC without the modification. Individuals with disabilities may file complaints regarding reasonable modification or accommodation below by completing the ADA complaint form HERE or by contacting DRMAC.
