Via Mobility currently serves Watkins, Byers, Bennett, Strasburg, and Deer Trail.
Service to Aurora is provided on Tuesdays and within the five communities on Fridays.
Flexibility:
Via Mobility is open to adjusting service days and locations to better meet the needs of the communities.
Needs Assessment:
Discussion on whether a needs assessment has been conducted to measure transportation needs in these areas.
Collaboration:
Via Mobility emphasized the importance of collaboration in maximizing transportation resources and efficiently serving high-demand areas.
Waitlist Issues:
Via Mobility has stopped accepting new registrations due to a 1,200-person waitlist. Many of these individuals are unlikely to receive rides under current conditions.
Weld County Pilot Program:
Service Details:
Via Mobility receives funding from Weld County to provide rides as part of a pilot program.
Service areas include Platteville, Fort Lupton, Kersey, Keenesburg, Milliken, Johnstown, Gilcrest, Ault, Hudson, and Nunn.
Destinations:
Riders from the above areas can be transported to Cheyenne, WY, Fort Collins, Loveland, Brighton, Broomfield, Boulder County, and parts of Adams County.
