DRMAC at the Capitol
On February 26, DRMAC Executive Director Kate Williams and DRMAC Government Liaison Malia Munson attended an exciting event hosted by Chris Hansen, Senator for Colorado’s House District 6. This event, called HD 6 Day, is held every year to give constituents an inside look at what goes on during a typical day in the Colorado Senate. It also provides an opportunity for citizens to bring their policy concerns to the table. At this year’s HD 6 Day, Senator Hansen addressed issues such as renewable energy and ways to reduce traffic congestion. Overall, the breakfast meet and greet was an excellent opportunity to share the DRMAC message with those who can empower needed change in the community.
